Instructions
1. EMBRACE THE WILD
Do a Wild Eyes activity with your Adult. If you do one that requires adult supervision such as the Firepit, you could kill two birds with one stone!
(That’s a metaphor – neither you nor your Adult should kill any birds!)
2. PROVE YOUR POWERS
Take a photo that proves that you’ve trained an adult to do it with you, and upload it to Wild Eyes!
3. LEARN FROM THE EXPERTS
Get inspiration from a couple of adult-training experts. Estella and Lucy are two young Wellingtonions who're helping look after birds like kākā and tīeke by trapping rats and weasels in Polhill Reserve.

One extremely well-trained Kiwi (we're talking a person not the bird or the fruit!) is Department of Conservation Threatened Species' Ambassador Nic Toki. Listen to her talk about being a nature kid (like you!) and dragging home a dried shark's head from the beach!

Bear Grylls trained as a special forces trooper in the UK army, so he's pretty well trained too, but what we're most impressed by is that he's got thousands of people inspired to get into the outdoors = well trained sir!
